Skradin and Krka waterfalls: an easy way to the brightest impressions
In Croatia, absolutely everyone can find the perfect rest: the variety of different resorts, islands, beaches and cities is amazing. Separate item is the town of Skradin, as well as Krka waterfalls: in essence, it is a national park.
Skradin: what is worth visiting
The city of Skradin is located in the central part of Croatia, it is located seventeen kilometers from Sibenik. It is a small resort town with a good access to the sea, also – it’s a great place to visit on a yacht, you can dock here in marina, or anchor nearby. An extremely convenient location allows you to include it in a sailing route of almost any sea voyage. In the closest proximity to Skradin are the famous Krka waterfalls.
Krka waterfalls: an unforgettable experience
Krka waterfalls are national park, it is located in the Krka river valley, not far from Sibenik. It is one of the most famous and visited sights of Croatia, in essence, it is seven cascades of waterfalls, and in the pond you can swim: this is what attracts many thousands of tourists every year. The view of the waterfalls is absolutely stunning: it’s definitely worth seeing to get a lot of positive impressions from the beauties, and to swim near waterfalls (naturally, at a safe distance from strong water currents) is already worth a lot. The richest, most beautiful ecosystem of the national park, are its flora and fauna – all this is really impressive. In addition to the waterfalls, that are from eight to forty-six meters high, in the national park is worth seeing the Franciscan Visovac monastery, the Orthodox monastery of Krka, and the ethnographic museum.
Krka waterfalls should be seen at least once in life, enjoy endlessly picturesque views, swim in an environment of incredible beauty, having received the most vivid impressions.
